Enhanced Model-Based Definition (MBD)
The new version extends MBD capabilities, ensuring that all product information is clearly defined within the 3D model. File export options have been improved, including support for 3D PDF and STEP AP242 Edition 3 formats. Additionally, the GD&T advisor now supports datum reference features and intent surfaces, making annotation reuse even more efficient.
Real-Time Simulation and Generative Design
With integrated real-time simulation and generative design tools, Creo 12 empowers engineers to iterate and optimize designs early in the process. The inclusion of thermal optimization studies and the updated Ansys solvers (25R1) enhances precision and efficiency in structural and modal analysis.
